Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2014 chevy Silverado z71 with the 5.3
engine the truck runs and drives good but when you
hit a hard bump the truck shuts off for about 5
seconds and on the display screen it says service
stabilitrac or service 4x4. Only flashes then comes
right back on and runs excellent

I would have it scanned to see if steer angle sensor is malfunctioning. It might have stored a code for it. A lot of reports of failed steer angle sensor.

I was wondering did you find out what the problem was with your truck when you hit the bumps and it stalled?
