Buying a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005 or 2006

Asked by Mo Sep 07, 2019 at 05:03 AM about the 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,

I love jeep and I am thinking about a used jeep grand Cherokee between 2005
to 2007. Since I am a student I am afraid of that these cars have some hidden
costs besides their gas milage. Could any body give some advice about how
much maintenance of this car in average is if I find one with around 100K+
milage on it?
and what aspect should I pay attention to when buying this car?

Thank you,
Mo

The Idiot above probably didn't do any regular maintenance, oil/filter change every 3000 miles. i've had a 2006, used has 170211 miles, no issues, just tire replacements, tuning once. its a good car, just check out owners maint and take it to a garage and as opinion. be well..

Not advisable at all. For a student I suggest a Toyota Corolla or Camry instead.
