My '95 bronco takes a few seconds to turn over, but starts every time. It has a 5.8L 351 Windsor. Does anybody know what the cause could be?

I found out my starter was on life support. Got a new one, now starts right up!

Check for cold start secuence listen for the fuel pump when you first turn the switch on to acc if thats going then try vewing if the injectors themselves are shooting gas in to the engine before cranking if any of those two are not happening then that might be your problem also yes change your fuel filter
