we bought 7 rebuilt or salvage titled vehicles throughout the years and they were some of the longest lasting vehicles we ever purchased - furthermore, we had very few issues and very little maintenance throughout the span of time we drove them - some we gave as gifts to family members when we no longer needed them and they drove for years afterwards - we knew the man who was a dealer for these vehicles and he was far more honest than most car dealers we have dealt with - this man was finally pressured out of business by the complaints to EPA by other jealous car dealerships that could not compete - keep looking - there are some still out there - inquire of the local mechanics
