Subaru Dealership State Inspection

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Today I had my car inspected and had an emissions test at my local
Subaru dealership (where I bought my car). The last time I had an oil
change was in late May, at the same dealership.

Would the mechanics have told me during inspection/emissions test if I
needed an oil change or not? The car passed inspection and emissions
with no issues.

Probably not. You should keep track of the mileage to determine when to change oil.
