Grand Cherokee 1999 Side Swiped Door Replacement Possibly.

Asked by aohi1999 Nov 27, 2016 at 11:37 PM about the 1999 Jeep Cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a grand cherokee 1999. So my car is side swiped, both doors are
destroyed physically but operate well; open and close. How much will this
cost? is it even worth it?

A body shop can reskin the door and then paint to match, although to do it right they'll paint the whole side of the car to ensure the color matches. If you want to do it cheaper, hunt down a pair of donor doors from a salvage yard. You can really save a few bucks if they match the color of you vehicle. If the rockers and pillars are damaged that can only be fixed through body work.
