Hey guys so is it true if the battery is not the right
size it affects the transmission on the car?

You should always follow the manufacturer's instructions and use the recommended battery. Using the wrong size battery may carry some potential problems. Today's cars and trucks are full of electronics that command almost all operating functions via computer module. The transmission is no exception. Always stay with the recommended battery for your car...do not try to improve on what the engineers at the factory have already done!
