Headrest doesn't fit
I had a hard time finding any relatively new car in our price range (12k) with a headrest that fits my wife. She likes everything about the Corolla except the headrest pushes her head forward so far forward that she cannot drive it without sticking pillows behind her back. Is it possible to replace the headrest with another (older?) type that would fit her properly?

many people have a problem getting comfortable in the factory seats- especially in the economy cars- you can buy aftermarket seats, like Recaros or similar- check online and have them installed by a mechanic- your back can thank me later-

Dude, don't take the headrest off! Shame on you, mikoloe for suggesting that! The headrest protects you in the even of a rear end collision. It prevents your head from snapping back too far. As a victim of 2 rear end accidents, I can attest that the head rest is a vital part of your car's safety equipment and should never be removed or altered unless you know the risks and are willing to pay the price! Except we all pay for dummies that take the headrest off and get injured with higher insurance premiums!
