This light informs you of a problem with the Electronic Throttle Control system. Call your local Dodge service department as soon as possible.
Pull off the road, and turn off the car. Then turn ignition key to ON, but before starting. Wait for dash lights to go off. Then slowly press gas pedal until hits floor, and slowly let it back up to the rest position. Turn ignition key to the OFF position. Start up the car, and see it throttle is reset. If lightning bolt shows up on dash again you will need it serviced. This has to be done whenever a new battery is installed.

FIXED: This happened to me , the pedal to the floor worked for me , but I used the brake pedal not the acc. Eventually this stopped working , no matter how many times I reset it in this fashion my car would go back to doing the same thing just seconds later , sometimes right at the light , on the highway whatever. After researching , I found out that my THROTTLE BODY was really dirty and you can’t just take it out and clean it , you have to get a whole new one . When this is dirty , it can disrupt the airflow that goes into the manifold. You lose torque , acc, and even waste more gas this way . So take your car to the shop and tell them that you need a new throttle body and the problem will be solved . GUARANTEED!!!
mark I hope ur right....if u find out differently, say so....yes?.....im actually going to have my throttle body rep;aced based on your report...(heh..heh)….u typed GUARANTEED!!!....so..gulp!..., here I go....
