Chrysler Town and Country, 2014

My instability light has
been coming on. If the
van is running and in park,
and the instability light
has come on, it will not
release out of park. To get
it out of park. I have to
shut the van off to reset
the instability light.  Once
that light stays off, I can
get it out of park. I have
an appointment to have it
looked at next Tuesday,
soonest I could get in. Will
it hurt to keep driving it
like this until it gets
looked at?
