First try using the higher octane gas if you use the low octane gas all the time acts as a fuel injector cleaner or just add some fuel injector cleaner to gas tank and have the idle control valve cleaned or replaced.

Sell it. I've come to the conclusion after several dud Chevys that they all suck. Get a Honda instead - you won't regret it

Accidently stumbled into this. the tube that connects from intake to port on side of engine cover has a small tank or cavity that collects vapors. The cover also provides passage from air filter to the carb intake. Sometimes the tank get full enough that sudden acceleration or breaking, sharp turns or up and down steep hills sucks some of the collected sludge into carb causing it to miss or stall. Don't know what to do except dump it when it happens but appears to be poor design. I've never seen this king of set up before. Anyone know how to resolve this.

There are two solenoids that sit on top of the camshafts one of those is bad and needs replaced just had mine replaced with the same problem and it fixed it.
