How do I charge my phone in the car-is there an on off switch

Looked at the VW Website, there seem to be 3 each of the 12V outlets to charge your phone (assuming you're using a standard cigarette lighter type plug in charger for the phone): Three 12V power outlets: 1 in front center console, 1 in center console for rear seating positions, and 1 in cargo area. If you're hoping to charge the phone while the vehicle is off, you're out of luck. VW stopped leaving the 12v power ports active when off for some years now. There are some neat solar chargers that would suffice, though.
