Need help with figuring out what’s making my battery die

I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee and I just replace the
battery and a few hours later it’s having problems
starting so I don’t know what’s Making it do that I
check the alternator and it’s fine I think it’s ether the
starter or the Wire arnés can some one please tell
me?
