Question type: General
I'm looking at buying a 97 grand Cherokee with 215k on it I know that jeeps can last a long time with proper maintenance I live in Colorado springs and I go to Denver about twice a month so should I go ahead and buy it or look for something with less mileage on it? I'm looking for something bigger but also something that will last

Can you get the history? I had a 1999 Expedition with 260000 miles on it. Sold it to a buddy. It's still running and he's still my pal. The point is, it was well taken care of. Just consider this. That jeep will drink gas.
BTW the way the Expedition got 18.5 Miles per gallon. You might want to look into one of them.
no- that Jeep is not the reliable car you will want it to be- if you have $10,000 spare for a new engine, tranny, etc. go ahead-
grand cherokees can last if they have been maintained. they tend to have electrical gremlins and quirks that come with them. if you get it,be expecting to change some sensors if it hasn't had it done yet and buy quality sensors.
