Grand Cherokee 5.2 4x4 1996 won't turn on.

Grand Cherokee 5.2 4x4 1996 stopped running
while I was on the road.
It turned off running, the needles stopped marking,
the fuel pump does not work and there is no
ignition spark. I had to get pulled and it still won't
turn on. I've been very stressed over this situation
since I've been short in cash and its my only
transportation for work. If anyone know what it can
be please let me know. Thanks

Have the battery tested , scan for codes , I'm thinking that jeep's seen better days and I wouldn't put any more money into it ,sign your life away on a car so you can go to work to pay for a car .
