Question type: General

Can anyone tell me if my jeep is a S or an SE. It is a 4 WD, 5 speed, 2.5L. I have recently bought it and the dealer put 1995 Jeep Wrangler on the title. He didnt put if it was a S or a SE

If those wheels are factory, which I'm 99% positive they are, then it is an SE. That year there wasn't much choice besides engine, transmission, hard top or soft top.

See that the thing cuz there are the star wheels and then the spare tire's wheel is different

I owned a '95 YJ 2.5L with a 5 speed. It was an SE and had the wheels that you have mounted on the vehicle. You just have a different wheel for the spare.

There is no sticker under the hood, the doors are after market and it is a 5 speed. don think that i hadnt already looked for those stickers, because i have looked and like i said THEY ARE GONE and ya i am smart, y do u think i have put this question up? it is cuz i have tried every thing that i know of to find out if it is a S or SE, i am just trying to save myself $$$ instead of going to a dealership and paying some joe blow at the dealership to tell me i have asked anyone to help me out that is kind enough to. and way to go about the "they only make a 2.5 L its a wrangler". cuz there are 4.0L and mine HAS 4WD. i dont see why it matters how mant times it shifts, cuz all of the 2.5L are 5 speed no matter if it is manual or not and im pretty sure that it is the same for the 4.0 L also

The easiest way to tell is the vin. you should be able to go online to a website... like this one and type in you vin and it will tell you all of the info about the jeep. http://jeep.avtograd.ru/VIN/vin_en.asp this one decodes and breaks it down easily. hope this helps.
