I have an 1994 jeep grand Cherokee. My gas gauge went all the way empty and the light came on. Also noticed that the fog lights quit working. How do I fix these problems sir? Thank you

It is difficult to say if the two problems are related. Possibly the fuel gauge sending unit failed, or the float is stuck. Start with the basics: meaning fuses. But when you tell us the light came on, I take that to mean 'low fuel warning" light, leading me away from fuse
It's safe to say fuses. The warning light usually runs through the BCM and could be on a separate circuit. --- Fog lights off is a separate issue. They run through a relay that fires when the low beams are on. It could be a fuse. it could be blown bulbs, it could be a bad relay, it could be dirty contacts. You need a circuit diagram and a meter to start checking it out. Check those fuses and bulbs.
OK, good morning tenspeed. I didn't know that. I figured the gauge and warning light were on the same circuit but what you say makes sense.

the sending unit in the tank is bad. the resistance of the sending unit determines when the light comes on. If the sending unit circuit goes open....gauge will go to empty and light comes on...... the fog lamps could be the switch, relay, fuse, bulb or wiring. I dont believe they are related. The low beam circuit supplies power to fog lamps.
