are driver and passenger lock cylindars interchangeable on a 94 grand cherokee?

i have a 94 jeep grand cherokee that got broken into the person who try to steal it punched the drivers door lock cylindar. its a little miss shapen and doesnt work any more and since the insurance company is taking it in a couple of weeks i just need a quick fix. i just want to know if the driver side a passenger side is interchangeable
