I have a 91 jeep comanche truck it starts but doesn't stay running

When I start it up turn on any electrical and put it in gear it dies and won't stay running. I've changed some things out on it and still does the same thing what could be the problem?

It sounds like your alternator is not putting out enough to keep it running.
