How long should a new set of tires last on a Subaru Impreza?

Asked by escholl Mar 15, 2019 at 09:15 AM about the 2015 Subaru Impreza

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Last year I purchased a used 2015 Subaru Impreza
wagon, with all season tires which are from the
original car though seemed in fairly good shape. It
had about 12,000 miles on it when I bought it. Now
it has about 26,700 miles, and in getting my car
inspected and oil changed, I am being informed the
tires are worn down to 3/32, and I need new tires
and an alignment will be done.   I am wondering,
how long should Impreza tires last?  And any other
input that can be given to me? Thank you.

Depending on the tire that might be right, I think they can go from 20-100 Thousand miles, guess which one manufacturers buy? Anyway an alignment will help assure you get the mileage you deserve out of your next set of tires. I hope this helps. Take care.

Tire life also depends on your driving conditions and how well you maintain the tires and the cars alignment.
