New 2015 Honda Fit (have had for 4 mos) and the check Charge System warning has flashed at me on two different occasions. After letting it sit, it seem fine. Any ideas what the problem could be?

The check charge system warning has flashed at me twice. After letting it sit an hour or so, I no longer receive the message. But then it happened again the next weekend. I have checked the battery connection and it doesn't appear loose.

i had mine too but got it march 5,2015 then the next day when i start the car it flashed at me.so i brought it back to the dealer to check them for me.so far what i heard from them today they change the battery didn't got my car back yet.
This has happened to me too... It stalled on the highway twice last week with this charge system message. The dealership has no idea what's wrong with it at this point and it's been there for two days.
Just had this happened after I left an interior light on over night. Check charge system warning was flashing for 40 minutes after jumping and even after restarting it. What I did was turned the car off and disconnected the wire that connects to the negative terminal of the battery. You can simply unclip it and put it back in. It did the trick for me. Not a mechanic by any means. I tried that and it worked. Also blew off the dust that had collected where the wire clips in.
I ended up taking it to the dealership I bought it at. The changed the battery to a more powerful battery and I have not had any issues with it since.
Honda Fit come with small battery, by not use everyday ,the battery always died ,so I find a Solution ... modify battery tray cut botton off and able to install Civic battery into that...Since that...Problem solve ...if your guy interest try it , this may solve your Charge issue !
