My car starts go squeak when I hit the breaks while I'm
driving, I want to know what I need to do? Btw it's a 2015
chevy equinox

I've heard a combination of life time pads and aluminum rims can cause this if all else is good ,

I have a 2012 Chevy Equinox that I bought brand new with only 36 miles on it. I immediately began having issues with squeaking noise and have had the vehicle back at the dealer more than 20 times regarding this issue. Now the noise is so bad you can hear it inside and outside the vehicle and I find it does it more when the SUV is warm or it’s hot outside. I get nothing but the run around from the dealer and service technicians because I’m a female. I’m fed up and want to know what is the problem causing the noise so it can be fixed properly.

RE: Peepswidow first you should start a new thread , try an independent garage , maybe the dealer doesn't want to actually have to think about a solution if it doesn't come up on a scan tool , it could be something very simple
