Why shouldn't I buy the 2015 Chev Volt?

That would depend on the condition and the price. Personally I think the Volt is a lot of hype and not worth the money.

Volt's also suffer from massive depreciation. You might want to read this ---- http://www.fleetcarma.com/chevrolet-volt-low-resale-value/

When I purchased my Volt my average trip was 19 miles a day. When the car was and until I got to 43000 miles I was able to charge every 2 or 3 days which was great. Now that is not the case as my charge time has increased and the miles recorded has dropped to 24 miles per charge. My garage is heated so I don't understand why the charge mile has gone down and the charge time has gone up. And I agree the value has tanked. So why did I buy the car not to visit gas stations only when I reached a 1000 miles on a tank full.
