Radio want come on with car?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i turn my car on the radio will not come on but if i
turn on the head lights before i turn the car on then the
radio comes on with no problem. What could be the
problem and how do i get it fixed.

I would start with checking the fuses, look in the manual and locate the fuse diagram and check anything going to interior power or radio sometimes also referred to as the head unit. Does it come on any time the headlights are on or only if you start the car with the headlights on?
