Liftgate failure and damage

The near side liftgate strut and head bolt on my 2016 Kia Sorento has pulled
right out and bent the framework. It went off like a gunshot. Anyone else know
of this happening? The vehicle has travelled 80,000kms been serviced always
at Kia dealer and is under new car warranty. This is going to be a costly repair
and Kia are refusing to accept as a warranty claim.

Now you know never buy a Kia. Contact your local BBB and you may also want to talk to your local DA.
