so i have to turn it off then turn the ignition one notch and put it in nuetrul then start it then i am able to put it in drive

Replaced spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, intake gaskets, and ignition coil. When I take off a plug wire from the distributor, I see scratch-like markings on the terminal.
