NISSAN Juke 2016 will not stop beeping

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello

Last night my nissan juke suddenly went off, it
sounds like the alarm or the horn just continuously
beeping.

The only way we could turn it off was buy removing
the nut screw around the negative terminal battery
and unplugging a cable.

I have checked the fuses and they all seem to be
fine but each time I put the nut back onto the
negative terminal and connect the cable the alarm
sound foes off.

I also changed the battery in the car key fob.

Any suggestions what this could be? Or what else I
can do?

Thank you for letting me know. However, the alarm suddenly ly went off at 8pm without me doing anything I just heard it and ran to the car. I then went to remove the negative terminal plugs which stopped the alarm. But the moment I put the negative terminal back into place the alarm goes off continuously. That's when I went on to test the fob but still nothing... Could it be a shortage in the fuse?

I have a 2016 Juke. I cleaned the hood sensor, the fob battery, replaced the car battery. No luck! It was the door ajar switch/sensor. Hope that helps.
