I have a 1994 Ford Explorer with the 4.0 V6 engine
I'm having several mechanical issues with my explorer, but the biggest problem I'm having is if I drive the vehicle more than 10 miles non stop, the engine loses power, as if an invisible switch is thrown causing the power to be cut in half, and at traffic lights, I have to place the transmission in nuteral and hold one foot on the brake, and the other on the throttle pedal just enough to keep the RPM's up and keep the engine from stalling out. What could the problem be, and how much will it cost to fix it ?
