It looks like it might be supposed to represent a "snowflake on a highway"

Question type: General

It came on the second day I had the the car, there was frost outside, no control
would affect it, but it went out the next time I started the car. It is definitely NOT
covered in the books, so I didn't appreciate that "flame": "read your owner's
manual."

Copied from page 3-76 of the manual I downloaded from the web. Evidently you are too lazy to read the manual. When the temperature on the outside temperature gauge is approximately below 4°C (40°F), the Icy Road Warning Light and Outside Temperature Gauge blinks 10 times, and then illuminates. Also, the warning chime sounds 1 time. Information If the icy road warning light appears while driving, you should drive more attentively and safely refraining from over-speeding, rapid acceleration, sudden braking or sharp turning, etc.
