how relaible is a 3.8 litre with 250000km on it

I'm looking at a 1994 mustang.  Body is mint,  but i'm not to sure about the engine.

Depends apon what your oil pressure is, condition of heads,are u blowing oil at start up,driving down the road,are u adding a quart every week or sooner? hook a mechanical, or electric after market oil guage. Any reading below 20# at an idle should be rebuilt or a new engine insalled.Baby it if lack of funds!
