Asked by Imago Sep 06, 2017 at 11:16 AM about the 2017 Subaru Impreza

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Please help me choose a smart buy: VW Jetta 2.0 115hp tiptronic or Subaru
Impreza 1.6 CVT? I will use the car for city driving for about 5 to 6 years. Both
cars are $19000 here in Peru.

Do you have snow and ice? If so the choice is clearly the Subaru.

We don't have snow or ice, at least here in the capital. People buy Subarus here in Peru for reliability

I would compare the reliability of the two different transmissions. Here in the US Subaru has been forced to extend the CVT warranty out to 100,000 miles because of problems.

Impreza
