Leaking coolant

Asked by Ohiocarguy38 Jun 22, 2017 at 03:02 PM about the 2002 Lincoln Continental

Question type: General

My 2002 Lincoln Continental is leaking
coolant. I should of put in my last question
that the car has never over heated. But the
heat is Luke warm when I run it and sounds
like the blower motor is grinding. I can hear
it inside the car

1 Answer

The heater fan noise may be debris in the air duct. Remove the fan and inspect. A low heat level might be air in the system so purge air out and see if that helps. A thermostat that is stuck open could also cause the engine to run too cool.
