5 minute repair Under the vehicle you will find a drain tube for the heater/ac box passenger side It has become lodged with crap / tree material leaves etc Take a coat hanger and open it up by carefully jamming it up inside the tube ( It is rubber ) You will notice immediately weather it has worked as water will rush out of the tube taking a lot of the debris with it. She has probably heard water gurggling in the dash for a while and could not find where it was coming from Good Luck
