The air distribution TANK is located beside the compressor. Each air bag per wheel has an air leveling valve at the top of each air bag. My car did the same thing, but by letting the air compressor cycle after multiple engine starts, and by rocking the car or pushing up and down on the ends if the car, the valves at each wheel started operating properly. That was my experience. How long did your car sit before replacing the the coprocessor?
