Brake lights and turn signals don't work on my 85 gmc

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an issue with my brake and turn
signals the front left works but the front
right and rear don't, as for the brakes no
power going to brake  switch. I changed
switch and flasher.checked under dash
connect ion get power through both ends
  checked tail gets power through socket ,
but doesn't blink when turn signal on
,also checked harness for trailer hookup
and it flashes through the pigtail .so I'm
scratching my head. Any suggestions
tried to troubleshoot.

I really hesitate to say this, gearheadnard321, you strike me as somebody that knows what they are doing. You have done all the right things. But you don't mention bulbs.

Thanks FordNut. I forgot to mention I checked and changed turn signal bulbs had an extra pack of 1156 in my tool box .as for the front I swapped right to left and it seems to work fine .
