Car stalling

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving my 1949 Cadillac when it just stalls
and won’t restart it turns over but won’t start back
now. Any ideas?

Adding to what else to look at would be the carburetor, it could be flooding out due to a piece of dirt caught up in the needle and seat, or a bad float. May be time to rebuild the carb. Just needs to be looked at to determine if it needs it or not.

Pull a spark plug to see if it is fouled or wet with gas. You can also use that plug to check for spark.
