I would say yes because the OnStar system tracks you and knows your location.

This is just more money they want fifty nine dollars a month to have the gps link another screwing by gm to make more money

I have 2016 and I THOUGHT it had GPS. it has XM screen with links to the radio and a few other things AND OnStar but I found out it doesn't have Navigation pkg which was misrepresented to me at dealership. So NO GPS screen!
