where the door meets the floor. both sides are bad
rusted, some spots are completely eaten threw and
you can see the ground threw it. there's also some
rust holes on the front wheel wells. how could i fix
and/or replace the rusted spots? thanks

I would look for good used body parts but the floor can probably be replaced. I would check with a place like this but there are lots of others ----- http://www.lmctruck.com/features/cbe/cbe-1966-chevy- c10-parts.htm

Go on line and your best bet is to weld in new pans...
Try and find another cab. Yours sounds like it will take a LOT of time in rust repairs. If you prefer to fix what you have, then look for patch panels, floor pans, and door channels, then either weld them in or use a non-weld kit to attach them (http://www.eastwood.com/ew-no-weld-panel-repair-kit.html). But take it from experience, if you have a lot of rot on your cab, it's quicker and cheaper to swap it out.
Just trying to make questioners look as smart as they really are.
