I inherited a 1971 Chevy c10 short bed fleet side from
my grandfather after his passing. Because of
sentimental reasons I wanted to keep it, but now that I
own it after thinking logically I'm debating on selling it
because I think it should go to someone who can really
appreciate it. Also looking to buy something more
practical. I'm a 25 yr old female so I feel its just unfair to
have something that I wouldn't be able to work on and
get its full potential out there. How much do you think
its worth?

I also have a 1971 c 10. The value depends on the condition, if the motor and transmission are matchhing to the truck and if your grandfather bought it new and have all documentation

depending on the condition anywere from 1000 to 7000 as long as its in good shape u should be able to get some descent money for it

Pictures would sure help to establish a base line asking price. You do have the fact that it is a short bed (the more desirable styles) going for you and the fact that you can attest to its history. Is the truck straight 6, V8, standard, automatic, is there any major dents or rust thru, what's the interior condition like ? Does it roll or is it drivable ?
