1993 Ford Explorer Rough Idle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1993 Explorer 4-Door 4wd and lately it has poor idle. It idles in between 500-750 RPM. It seems like its missing but no check engine light has come on. In park its alright idling but while in drive or reverse it drops to 500RPM and like its going to stall but it just flutters. Sparkplugs were changed about 20,000 ago with new wires. I don't see or hear a vacuum leak either. Any Ideas would be appreciated

take off the EGR and clean with carb cleaner, still check for vac leaks these hoses get soft and crack, you could have one that has sucked together, recomend replaceing them.
