Can anyone give me information particularly about  
a Mazda atenza which I'm considering purchasing
which states "4x4" on the listing.. it's a 2003 5AT
sport wagon.

Thanks for that, I read on a Google webpage that it is front wheel drive with all-wheel-drive on demand, (only when driving wheels lose traction).
