Question type: Maintenance & Repair

THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 18 MONTHS. MAZDA ACTUALLY SEVICED MY CAR FOR FREE AS AN APOLOGY
BUT THE MAZDA DEALERS STILL WILL NOT FIX THE CORROSION PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY SAY THAT MAZDA WILL NOT PAY THEM FOR WORK CARRIED OUT ON THE RECALL NOTICE. HOW CAN I BRING THIS TO A CONCLUSION.

take it back to dealer leave it and tell them to call when fixed, where i am from this works they dont want the responsability of your car on their lot, try this leave it tell shop forman why and walk away,it will get fixed.

The dealership/service department does not have the authority to refuse the recall. Payment of the recall work is between the dealership and the corporate office. Call the corporate office and tell them what the dealership is trying to do. Maybe they can help!
