More often than not, it's the switch that controls your window. Unfortunately today's auto parts are made of plastic and wear out faster than we like. Not only that, replacements are not cheap as most consist of a bank of 4 switches (one for each window) and you'll need to purchase the entire bank even though you may only have one bad switch. If your tight for cash and just need to get that window up for the time being you can follow these steps. 1. Remove door panel 2. disconnect power supply to motor. 3. Using a pair of jumper cables connected to your battery, supply power to the motor. Obviously the motor runs in forward and reverse so you may have to experiment until you supply power to the wire that raises the window. Once the window is up, leave the motor disconnected from any power to prevent you or another driver from accidentally lowering the window. Replace the door panel and your done.
