The car only has about 64,000 miles and is a 2003
It stalls and stops when putting the car in reverse, then drive and also when slowing down and turning a corner or just driving along at a slower speed.

My 03' was doing this, especially when the engine was warmed up. When cold it didn't happen. Turned out to be the Idle Air Control Valve. New one cost about $45.00 and took about 5 minutes to replace. A very easy job and solved the problem once and for all. If your check engine light is on the code may be "Low Engine Idle". I had that after a few months of problems.
