2003 Mazda Tribute Stereo

Asked by Nathan Aug 18, 2020 at 07:38 AM about the 2003 Mazda Tribute LX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The stock stereo in my 2003 Mazda Tribute
has been having problems for quite some
time. I finally (after much struggling) removed
the stock 6 disk changer/cassette combo and
just decided to throw in something cheap with
Bluetooth capability since most of my music
is on my phone l now anyway. The problem
I’ve run into is that the Subwoofer in the back
hatch area isn’t working. I have 4 wires
leftover that were in the original harness that
aren’t referenced in any of the wiring diagrams
I’ve found. Two of the wires are gray with a
black strip, one red with a red stripe and one
orange with a light blue stripe.

You'll need the right connector, check with crutch field, they might be able to supply you with one.
