Counld there be a problem with the electric fans?

Probably not, listen for them when your engine starts heating up. This is pretty normal, the engine gets hotter when there is little or no airflow.

It's getting hotter than normal when idling at stop lights. I am sure..... because the AC stops cooling ....

Sounds like a problem with your AC, not the engine cooling system.

hey,yes it sounds like your elelctric radiator fan is not working.there is no other reason that this could occur.

kinda sounds like your electronic fan is not kicking on to cool your motor.. check your fuse and then thermal switch and then maybe the cooling fan motor if all else is good. you can run current to the motor with wires from the battery to see if the motor is working.
