It might fit but it won't look right. Try it out. Why make an almost new truck look like it escaped from the Ozarks?

Did you end up trying this? Looking at doing something very similar and wondering what you ran into with the fit.
I have a 2018 chevy silverado. Will a 2006 shell fit my truck. I know the 2007 to 2013 were a little different, but heard the newer models might work.
