Mazda protege 2000 suddenly won't start!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery is good. Car was running fine yesterday! My dad
took a look at it today and changed the motor on the fuel
pump. Nothing... He is thinking that the fuel pump isn't
receiving any electricity. Could this be the problem? And to
any old protege owners, where is the relay for the fuel
pump located?? Thank you for your help in advance.

Check the pump ground contact, in most of cases for some reasons it loses good contact, or check wiring. Actually there are many reasons why car doesn't start. Check first - battery (should be very good contact), then starter, spark plugs etc.
