Car keeps jerk in while driving on the highway.

Asked by Israel Oct 04, 2014 at 08:50 AM about the 1999 Mazda 626

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 Mazda 626 4 cylinder
automatic, this just recently started
happening and only happens in the
highway. My car will start jerking like if it
wants to speed up on its own jumps from
2000rpm to 4000 rpm back and forth and it
just feels like I have to floor the gas pedal
to get it to run properly. Any idea what it
could be? Thank you.
