is giving up so i need to buy a new mottor
what type will be great for my car and what
will fit will

Put the same motor in, it's a 1998 car it doesn't make sense to put anything else in. for the price of the car and all the work you will need to do adding a different engine does not make sense at all.

The car is probably not worth installing a new engine which will cost you $4,000 or more but if you like the car and plan on keeping it, it probably would be worth spending the dough.
